FAQ
Common questions
Does Complete Edition include all three campaigns?
Yes. Complete Edition includes the base Shogun 2 campaign, Rise of the Samurai and Fall of the Samurai. Platform bundles and legacy content differ; check the edition comparison.
Do original Shogun 2 mods work in Complete Edition?
The official FAQ says original mods are not compatible with Complete Edition. The original game remains playable and its mods are unaffected.
Can I rely on a classic campaign guide for Complete Edition?
Use the version label. Complete Edition changes some mechanics, adds playable minor factions and includes a Realm Divide slider; classic tactics are not a substitute for checking the new settings.
